UTKARSH VIDHYALAYA
Our organization is running a school up to class 8th class at GARHI village of Baihar Block in Balaghat district. The school was established in 2004 with the donation of land and building by a retire school teacher Mrs. S. Charles. She actively involved in school activities and gave her support voluntarily. The main aim of establishing the school is to provide value based education to rural children. The school is recognized by Department of Education, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh. We are not running the school for profits, but with service motto.
Support School for better education
The school has completed 10 years and is providing good education to the students in this remote area. The School is situated in a very remote village called GARHI. The school was started with the kind support of a retired school teacher Mr. S. Charles. She gives her time, experience and money to this school. School was started in Kuccha Mud Building, now with the support of members and other like minded people. We have started construction of the new building for school. The new school building will be available for children by the end of the November. We are planning to shift classes on 14 November 2013 on Children’s Day. This school needs more support to be a good educational institute in this part of the world.
As we know, all children need good atmosphere, opportunity and support for their own development. Utkarsh Vidhyalaya [School] not only gives literacy but more importantly value based education which is more required for life. We give knowledge and opportunity to learn to all students. We introduce our students their rights, duties and bringing them to the mainstream. We are very proud to announce that more than 20 students were selected for Navodaya Vidhyalaya or Model School in the last 10 years. This is only the private school in this area which gives opportunity to students for their overall development.
However, the school still needs more support and resources to provide good education to all students. So, we are requesting all to kindly support this school financially.
Most importantly we need recurring expenses to pay salaries to our devoted teachers, who are working with very less honorarium. If anyone make any donation to our teachers, that will be very big support for the school which is providing quality education to the students in a remote area like Garhi.
