Bio-Globules or Bio-bracket is a good alternative of fire wood. This bracket is made by bio waste and very much useful for Cooking, warming etc. The technique is developed by Pant University Sikkim and CDC is promoting this around Kanha Tiger Reserve to reduce pressure on forest.
We are trying to develop this as livelihood of local people whose are involved on selling of fire wood. MPCST has been supported CDC to conduct training for rural community. The technique has been introduced and training conducted for the community. CDC continue working on this because this is the matter behavior change of the community.
