SAMPADA

SAMPADA is a community conservation centre, situated at KHAJRA village of BAIHAR Block in BALAGHAT district. Main objectives of SAMPADA Centre.

• Promote community for forest and wild life conservation
• Training and skill development of local community on conservation and livelihood
• Demonstration of different techniques for sustainable livelihood, conservation etc.
• Centre for collection and conservation of local seeds, plant species etc.

The centre is establish by the support of Rufford Small Grant Foundation, In last two years we have trained more than 400 peoples through this centre on different issues i.e. Organic Farming, Seed Treatments, Vegetable Cultivation, Honey processing, NTFP primary processing, Making of Bio-Globules, Making of Low Cost Smokeless CHULAH etc.
